What's Your Story?

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• We’re looking for original stories that are: Authentic, personal, raw, and inspiring.

• Please refrain from stories that have fanatic Political, or Religious undertones, though, honest first-person accounts of said genres, and Spiritual stories are accepted. 

Sharing your story can teach, heal and develop you and those who read it. It can act as a much-needed reminder that we are not alone.  Such is the power of storytelling.

• Your submission can be 1-2 paragraphs, inspiring fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or a personal experience.

• Please include a captivating title to your story.

• If a story meets all the criteria but needs some editing due to grammatical errors, we will take the liberty of correcting those for a better reading experience, without compromising your truth. We proofread all submissions. Please make it easier for us and submit well-crafted pieces.

• Submitting a story does not guarantee that it will be published. We review all submissions, so please allow up to 2 weeks to be notified if your story was accepted. 

 

PLEASE INCLUDE:

• Your first and last name (or any name you’d like to be published under; you can be anonymous, but make sure to indicate that in your email.)

• The title of your story

• The word count 

• A brief author bio

Links you want to share. It can be your social media pages or your website so people can enjoy more of your work.

We do not pay writers for submissions. We only support getting your voice heard by helping you reach a wider audience.

Submission Format:

 

     IMPORTANT NOTICE: COPYRIGHT YOUR WORK BEFORE SUBMISSION.

• Please submit in PDF format only.

• Please, do give us a trigger warning and specify the type of trigger, if you think your story could trigger some readers. For example, (emotional abuse trigger warning, sexual assault, etc)

• Please do not submit previously published stories on free platforms.

• A book excerpt is welcome, where you can link to your Amazon or Goodreads.

• We reserve the right to make revisions as needed.

• We reserve the right to reject a submission at our discretion, with or without notice.

• Flow, grammar, and harmony are detrimental to acceptance. 

• You can submit as many stories as you’d like, yet we ask you to be mindful not to overwhelm our inbox.
